Haven Villa

Im trying to be positive about this one.Difficult for taxi to get to address, The area is good ish location but in front and to the side are unfinished so not the best veiws and road unfinished so take care when walking outside, especially if you have walking difficulties, which i have, this should be explained upfront but then i wouldn't of booked the property. Ceiling in living room was patched recently. It was a large area, and looked like there had been leak, we worked it out that it was from the ensuit, because water was pouring out when in the shower, you cant close the door in that room so had to make sure a towel is on the floor at all times, and constantly washing and dry towels. For the last 5 days it was cracking and plaster was falling off (probably due to water from en suit)Sun lovers (i have to admit we are not), but if you are, this villa has a LOT of shade, you have to chase the sun all day.The property NEEDS a book to explain1. Doctor/ambulance/local hospital numbers2. How to work the cooker and TV, by the time we work it out, we were going home. 3. We were asked to leave the property when the cleaner came in, not sit garden but leave. We sat in the coffee shop and she was in there 15 minutes tops. Changed the bedding and towels and that was it! 4. Tea towels are a must. I bought 1 myselfThe pool man was lovely though. This villa was expensive but ive had better for a lot less in this area. But we had a great time despite the disappointment of villa

All in all we had a lovely holiday and felt at home in the villa, the staff we spoke to via WhatsApp were super helpful Positive: The villa was beautiful with plenty of space for our family of 5, the ample seating areas around the villa was well used and we enjoyed a BBQ night outside, the villa had excellent amenities and we enjoyed the restaurants near by and used the local wine shop and food shop, the beach was only a 10min walk which was perfect, the buildings around were still under construction which wasn't the best view but we didn't mind this as it was peaceful with us having no neighbours Negative: The wifi was a bit slow on the first day but after that it worked well for us all, the iron and lamps around the villa were not able to be used due to being two pin plugs- we did go out and by adaptors for the lamps, the bathrooms are on the smaller side and after using the showers the floors got very wet in the bathroom, minor things that did not negatively impact our stay
